“Should young dreams be allowed to die, especially dreams born of deep personal experiences that make one angry/sad enough to act?” This question in the aftermath of a conversation with an alumnus inspired the setting up of the Youth Involve Award – to support young social entrepreneurs. The award has grown into Youth Involve Social Entrepreneur Support. Though initially open to the alumni of BI, it is now open to any young person who is passionate enough to travel the social entrepreneurial route to design solutions to social issues. Thirty one social entrepreneurs now belong to YI Alliance, coordinated by the YI Lead Team consisting of senior YI entrepreneurs. The application for YI is announced through social media.
