“Should young dreams be allowed to die, especially dreams born of deep personal experiences that make one angry/sad enough to act?” This question in the aftermath of a conversation with an alumnus inspired the setting up of the Youth Involve Award – to support young social entrepreneurs. The award has grown into Youth Involve Social Entrepreneur Support. Though initially open to the alumni of BI, it is now open to any young person who is passionate enough to travel the social entrepreneurial route to design solutions to social issues. Thirty one social entrepreneurs now belong to YI Alliance, coordinated by the YI Lead Team consisting of senior YI entrepreneurs. The application for YI is announced through social media.

Youth Involve Turns 10: A Decade of Inspiring Journeys

Youth Involve (YI) is turning 10 this year! If we go back to the YI Award years, this journey spans an incredible 12 years of empowering youth, fostering dreams, and building communities. This milestone calls for a heartfelt celebration, and we are inviting all who have been part of our journey to come together for a special event.

Over the years, we’ve created a new way of youth involvement. Through multiple interactions with diverse stakeholders, we’ve come to realize that the heart, emotions, personal journeys, and dreams have been at the core of what we do. While achieving targets and results has its importance, it’s the deep dive into authenticity, the unconditional support from one another, and the group bonds we’ve formed that define YI’s impact.
